Meet Shivonne Martin
Shivonne is the director and senior broker behind ProTrades, with over 18 years specialising in insurance for Australian trade businesses — from sole traders with a ute and a trailer through to multi-crew operations with plant, staff and commercial contracts.
After nearly two decades watching tradies get burnt by cover that was cheap on the day and useless at claim time, the approach here is simple: disclosure first. Describe the work accurately, understand the conditions before you buy, and there are no surprises when it matters. It costs a little more attention up front. It saves businesses on the day something goes sideways.
Meet Adam Groom
Adam is the General Manager of ProTrades Insurance and oversees the day-to-day operations, insurer relationships, technology, marketing and client experience. His focus is keeping ProTrades responsive, practical and easy for tradies to deal with.
